Marketing Impact Limited specializes in designing and manufacturing innovative point-of-sale displays and other merchandising solutions.
As an in-house designer, I had the opportunity to be involved in various projects requiring graphic assistance.
Graphic Mockups for 3D-Designed Displays
Working alongside an industrial designer allowed me to better visualize how graphics could be used to enhance a physical display.
I had the privilege to be involved in the conceptual design for a display for the Conair BaByliss Pro hair dryer. The client wanted to highlight its Italian design and handicraft, as well as emphasize the superior technology developed for this latest product.
I created a waving banner of the Italian flag across the back of the display in order to draw the most attention to the dryer’s Italian design, with the wave subtly mimicking the flowing of hair. Together with the industrial designer, we developed the idea for a separate clear piece on the display to highlight icons illustrating the product’s key features.
The final product incorporated my ideas for the Italian flag banner and standalone icons, with modifications designed by Conair. Through this collaborative process, I learned how to communicate design ideas effectively and experience how designs can be adapted in order to meet the client’s objectives. By collaborating with an industrial designer and client, I had gained insight on the process to revise design based on client feedback.

Sales Sheets
The sales team routinely requests for marketing materials that highlight key features and benefits of a given product. It was important to not only organize the information clearly, but to also capture attention and reinforce the Marketing Impact brand identity, as these sales sheets would be a client’s first impression of the product.
I had created a few templates to use for our sales sheets, using images and text from the Deodorant Pusher System product as a place holder for any product a salesperson would request to promote.
Social Media Posts
In order to increase brand recognition and support business growth, I created engaging content for our company LinkedIn page.
One of the campaigns I organized was a countdown to our participation in the Grocery Innovations Canada event. For a period of days leading up to the event, I highlighted relevant products we offer, as well as where our booth would be located.

Product Photography
I was responsible for photographing and editing new products that had completed production in our warehouse. The photos I had taken and edited were to be catalogued in our photo library, where they could be referenced by a salesperson who required images for clients, and accessed by our graphic team for use in any marketing and promotional content.
